Mexican La Laja Honey

$20.00Price
1 Ounce
  • La Laja, a family farm and mining group in Veracruz, Mexico, began in 1920 when its founder, Hermilo Sampieri, bought his first coffee farm. His son joined in, and eventually, one farm became seven! They also purchase a wide variety of cherries from small farmers in Chiapas and are experts in processing coffee.

La Laja Honey is supremely sweet with mild citric acidity and a smooth, creamy body, earning it a spot in our group of clean and consistent coffee. The “honey process” is a technique of leaving the coffee fruit on longer after harvest which enhances natural sweetness to the beans. You can taste some notes of orange, chocolate and sugar cane flavor; all can come out in the best medium roast.
